Does KreatorMesh have a free plan like Buffer?
No. Plans start at $12 a month and the 5-day trial needs a card ($1 verification, refunded immediately). AI generation and X’s paid API cost money per use, and a free tier funded by paying customers tends to make the paid product worse. If free is the requirement, Buffer is the right answer.
Can I use both?
Yes, and some people do: Buffer for text and link posts on the free plan, KreatorMesh for video and hook tests. There is nothing to import either way; you connect the same social accounts to both.
Which one works with Claude or ChatGPT?
Both have MCP servers. Buffer’s is on every plan including free and covers scheduling. KreatorMesh’s is on Creator and above and adds check_draft, which scores a caption against hook-test rules, plus media by URL so Instagram and TikTok posts can be published from a chat.
What is hook testing?
A hook is the first line or first second of a post, the part that decides whether anyone keeps reading or watching. A hook test posts two to five variants of the same content with different hooks to your own audience, waits for results, picks the winner, and writes a rule such as "questions beat statements on this account". Every later draft is checked against the rules. Buffer does not do this.
How do I move from Buffer to KreatorMesh?
Connect your accounts in KreatorMesh, a couple of clicks each. Anything already scheduled in Buffer still publishes from Buffer, so overlap for a week and cancel when you are ready. There is no export or import step.
